CUSTOM GLASS CROSS

This unique crystal cross is a collaboration between Christina and gifted wood carver Michael Stagnaro. Hand-carved cherry and walnut hold individual thick blocks of prismatic crystal segments that depict the Glory of the Heavens-- in etched, carved, and 23k gold-leafed art and detailing. Glass and light have always been a powerful combination, magnetizing and amplifying light as a physical and spiritual presence. The crown of thorns is intricately carved into the Cherrywood armature.

We imagine this sculpture in a meditation space or chapel / church space.

Measures 21 1/2” x31” x 3/4” thick crystal

BIRD DETAIL

lady liberty

Lady Liberty, the center panel of one of Christina Amri’s most triumphant works, is now available for private acquisition.

The figure and birds were deep-carved by hand into the back of an inch-thick crystal slab of crystal. Lady Liberty was the focal point of a career-defining installation by Christina Amri that featured a pair of 9 ft x 6 ft crystal triptychs flanked by matching, etched steel elevator doors. It was originally designed for the lobby of the KPMG Building, a magnificent Neo-Deco skyscraper in SanFrancisco, CA.

Custom steel framing houses hidden state-of-the-art LED edge-lighting, which casts breathtaking reflections throughout the space it inhabits. These images are designed in the tradition of Rene Lalique's superb glass and crystal mascot figures and of the American modernist sculptors who used heroic and allegorical figures in their building ornamentation.

Vision is the art of Seeing

things Invisible

This “white-on-white” monolith celebrates seeing in the technical sense, cleverly depicting the artist’s version of the EYE, plus a classic medical eye chart and the wonderful words of Albert Einstein:

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead —his eyes are closed.

Beautiful and mesmerizing as a focal point in any entryway, waiting room, or lobby as a philosophical piece, and simply stunning in an ophthalmology setting when edge-lit or highlighted with a spotlight.

Availability: Measures 18” x 30” x 1/2” polished crystal.
